Jack Van Lierop

Jack joined LJ Hooker with a wealth of knowledge of the farming industry. His 25 years involvement included share milking, farm ownership and agricultural contracting.

Jack has had 18 years in rural Real Estate sales. Repeat dealings with his clients has attributed to Jack's passionate approach regarding service and commitment to the client and the property.

Glen Murray

I was born in Gisborne and grew up on a dairy farm just outside of Te Puke. I moved to Matamata in 1991. My wife Tanya and I have 4 children and 4 grandchildren.

In the past we have owned and operated a transport company, serving the local and regional rural community carting livestock, metal, maize, onions and chicken manure.

I moved into Real Estate 5 years ago. I enjoy working with many of our past clients, building further on our working relationship, based on honesty, hard work and integrity.

I pride myself on my honesty and a positive work ethic.

Peter Begovich

Peter Begovich joined LJ Hooker, Matamata in 1996. Up until this time Peter was a dairy farmer in the Richmond Downs district. As a real estate agent he very quickly established himself as a smart rural negotiator. He is an accredited auctioneer and has been an instrumental force in building the company's presence in auctions here in Matamata.

With over 21 years of experience to date and an impressive number of sales under his belt, Peter's hardworking down to earth, friendly manner is appreciated by his clients.

In recent years Peter has become a specialist in the area of chicken farms. He owns a Meat Chicken Farm and is one of Inghams largest contract growers.

Rex Butterworth

Rex began his real estate career in Spain when he was eighteen. This international experience was invaluable and enabled Rex to return to New Zealand with excellent negotiating skills.

He later changed direction and began his dairy farming career, firstly in the Te Awamutu district and then to his current farm in Walton. His excellent communication skills have been recognised in the dairy industry where he is actively involved in Fonterra, the Drainage Board, plus a number of community organisations. Rex has embraced his real estate career with the same hardworking professionalism and passionate approach that he applies to all aspects of life.
